Katshing is Sweden’s largest web retailer of mobile phones and related
services. In addition to the wide assortment within mobile telephony
the company also offers products for navigation, home electronics and
computers. The company’s head office is in Gothenburg and its customer
service and administration are in Falkenberg.
Market
Today Katshing is active on the Swedish market, primarily vis-à-vis private
consumers. The company’s partners are all the major mobile phone
manufacturers and the four main operators that own networks. An
independent relationship to all players is essential in order to be able to give
customers the very best service according to their needs. In 2008 Katshing
won, for the second year in a row, the magazine Mobil’s big retailer test, was
awarded the prize Guldmobilen at the trade gala in Kista and received the
distinction “Ung Gasell” in the newspaper Dagens Industri.
Future prospects
In 2009 Katshing will attack the Swedish corporate market and start
operations in Norway. These two sectors are expected to bring about high
levels of income in 2009. The Swedish private consumer market is expected
to continue to be weak in 2009. The company looks forward to 2009 with
